Hello again and welcome back to the Casually Crafting blog hop! This month our theme is ‘Love’ whether that be upcoming Valentine’s Day, Wedding, Engagement or just because!  As we continue into 2020 and Sale-a-Bration what’s not to love!

The Casually Crafting Design Team are a group of Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators that want to share our love of crafting with you all.  We will be sharing what we love every 3rd Friday of each month.  Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative projects using the photo links at the end of this post.

Heartfelt

For the love theme I opted for the new stamp set ‘Heartfelt’ which I believe captures this months theme in a nutshell! If you need even more to love about this stamp set then I’m delighted to tell it is one of the new suites from the Occasions catalogue, there are co ordinating punches available which make for super cute and quick cards! For my first project I have used the punches along with the stamp set.

I initially thought I didn’t need another heart stamp set or punch… but I was wrong!

I just love when items co-ordinate and whilst I love my dies sometimes you just need a quick make and punches can be hard to be beat!  for this project I did use my stitched shapes for the circle layer behind the hears, however you could just as easily use a punch for that as well!

And there’s MORE!

I really like this suite, the designer series paper is amazing; so amazing in fact that I made a fab little gift box to go with my card!  Don’t judge me but it’s the perfect size for a Terry’s chocolate orange, which although featured in the photograph sadly hasn’t survived long enough to make it to Valentine’s Day!  I think I’ll maybe get my hubbie a pair of socks instead!

(Note at the time of making my real red double stitched ribbon from the new catalogue hadn’t arrived so I used a retired one in it’s place, the new one is perfect though especially if you but the entire suite bundle because you ‘just have to have it all’!
